Mary was tall, she was thin
never asked for anything
else than a cup of coffee
her heart beat too fast
when she spoke about seas
she put salt in shampoos
and sand in her sheets
Mary laughed past eleven
yet she cried after twelve
left no traces but town
when she had grown old
